Brad P Review

I was fortunate to learn about Brad P shortly after I discovered the seduction community even existed. Do you want to know why?

Because there is a lot of crap out there being pedaled as relationship advice.

The first PUA product I bought was a book on “natural game” (which it turns out has nothing to do with what naturals actually do…but that’s another post). It also came with one month access to a forum that claimed to transform your skill with women in twelve months. There was almost no coach involvement, and the only advice people got was from other students who weren’t getting laid themselves. I canceled when I asked a guy who had been there for a year if he had improved much, and he said “well, I’m not as shy…” (run away!!!!)

During that experience I browsed around some other public forums, signed up for all the major gurus’ email lists, and bought a few other pickup products.

Do you know how many women I talked to during that time?

One. And she tried to sign me up for Amway. :(

Then I ran across The Forbidden Truth by Brad P. His description of the typical PUA student was so accurate, I thought he had written it just for me.

Here are a few things that really stand out:

  • He developed his game largely separate from the rest of the pickup community.
  • After he started teaching, he realized that some of his students knew A LOT of seduction theory – and they weren’t able to use any of it.
  • Taking in too much information from too many different sources can actually make your game worse than it would be without any information at all.

Which brings us the to what I consider the best part of the Brad P PUA mentality:


SUCCESS = GETTING LAID


Beginning with the end in mind is an important concept, because it helps you avoid wasting time on activities or practicing skills that don’t get results you want.


For example, which one is better?

  • An opener with a 100% success rate for starting conversations and a zero percent success rate for getting laid
  • or an opener that causes women to reject you outright 30% of the time but ends up getting you laid 10% of the time you use it.

My inner wimp likes the first option because he’s afraid of rejection. Of course, if I listen to him, I’ll have a lot of nice conversations and sleep alone.
